With their 2020 song release of ‘Body,’ Pretty Ricky reentered the music scene and joined The Millennium Tour with Omarion and Soulja Boy. The band released the albums “Bluestars” and “Late Night Special,” but Pleasure P left the group in 2007 and rejoined in 2015. The romantic and raunchy lyrics of the single were cleaned up and the new version of ‘Grind with Me’ became wildly popular nationally. The hit single landed them a record deal with Atlantic Records and national exposure. Pretty Ricky has been active since 1997 and the group’s 2004 single, ‘Grind with Me,’ got heavy radio airplay in the Miami area. The lead vocal duties belong to Pleasure P, while the other members rap. The group is composed of Slick ‘Em, Baby Blue, Spectacular and Pleasure P. The pop-friendly R&B act is known for its intimate and romantic style. The hip-hop group put out the big hit ‘Grind with Me’ in the early 2000s. Jim Jonsin produces most of the tracks, switching from pared-down Southern bumps to contemporary R&B backdrops. That's how outrageous they are, fitting somewhere between Usher and the Ying Yang Twins at their most lecherous, but they're not nearly as effective as either influence - "Get a taste of the salami, knock you down like tsunami" is not an atypical come-on. They're the kind of guys your mother wouldn't think to warn you about.
